THE MISSION

Transform this dual garage into a beautiful custom garage, perfectly suited for this family’s needs, interests and lifestyle.

The project presented an interesting challenge: a main garage showing signs of age and wear, paired with an adjacent unfinished space full of untapped potential. When the homeowners reached out through our website, we knew this was an opportunity to demonstrate how thoughtful design could transform both spaces into something exceptional.

THE RESULT

In just under two weeks, we completed a comprehensive overhaul that touched every surface and system within these garages. When vision meets masterful design, magic happens!

The 14-day transformation encompassed everything from structural improvements to aesthetic enhancements to include:

Our joint approach with the clients proved essential, as we began understanding their lifestyle and specific needs. While the technical aspects of finishing – drywall, paint, and flooring – formed the project's foundation, our focus remained on optimizing functionality for each family member. Partnering with homeowners to design custom, functional spaces is what we love most.

A perfect example of this tailored approach was the custom workbench we designed and installed in the side garage. This isn't just any workbench; it's a dedicated haven for the homeowner's fly-fishing passion, perfectly illustrating how we transform spaces to enhance our clients' lifestyles.

The storage solutions feature ProSeries cabinets, selected for their exceptional combination of capacity and quality. These premium units come backed by a lifetime warranty, offering peace of mind alongside their practical benefits. The versatility of the ProSeries line, with its diverse size options and customization potential, allowed us to maximize storage efficiency while perfectly fitting the unique dimensions and requirements of the space.

What doesn’t fit in the ProSeries cabinets can be organized and showcased in the installed slatwall.

To enhance storage and organization, we installed versatile slatwall panels and durable overhead racks, providing a functional and efficient solution for the clients’ garage. The slatwall offers flexible storage options with customizable hooks, shelves, and baskets, perfect for tools, sports equipment, and everyday essentials.

The overhead storage system deserves special mention. By utilizing previously unused ceiling space, we created valuable storage for seasonal items and bulky storage bins, keeping them accessible yet out of the way. This innovative approach effectively doubled the garage's functional space with well-organized areas for anything the clients choose to store without expanding its footprint.

The garage's exposed piping (below) needed attention, so we crafted a custom soffit to conceal it while creating a clean, professional finish.
